In this workshop, you will learn the basics of linocut printmaking. No previous drawing experience is necessary.
You will learn about the design principles that make compelling linocut images, play with different carving techniques to create textures, create your own 4”x6” block and practice applying ink and transferring the image to paper.
You may bring sketches of your ideas or let yourself be inspired by the reference materials provided in the class.
