Collage artist Marie-Andrée Couture is a relative newcomer to our area and now calls Havelock home. After training in art and design, she worked in various graphic design studios in Montreal. Before the advent of computers, paper layouts were used to illustrate ideas and concepts proposed to clients. Without realizing it, this approach was to introduce her to the wonderful world of collage.
MARIE-ANDRÉE is passionate about her little pieces of paper. Collecting, classifying, cutting, assembling and gluing are all part of her daily routine. Her imagination is filled with flowers, plants and birds.
This fall, Marie-Andrée will be offering workshops in COLLAGE.
