SLOW STITCHING

HELGA SERMAT

Slow stitching is the simple act of taking a piece of fabric and transforming it with a needle and thread into something personal and unique where the focus is on the process. With the help of these basic and ancient tools, we can enjoy the flow state that comes from connecting with the repetitive act of pulling thread through fabric. We will use a combination of simple hand sewing techniques and basic embroidery stitches to experience the mindfulness of making. Your unique little creation will remind you of the importance of enjoying the process and being in the present moment!
