ALPHABET
Using a few letters of the alphabet, we’ll cut out richly textured and colourful magazine papers to create an abstract, complex and dynamic composition. We’ll be exploring notions of negative space to create a harmonious whole.
No previous experience or drawing ability required.
It’s simple, fun and very ZEN.
Wednesday October 16

There will be a 30 minute break – Bring your lunch!

BOUQUET OF FLOWERS
Through the creation of a bouquet, you will experiment with a variety of collage techniques: stencilling to create the vase, paper cut with scissors to create the flowers and foliage, ‘floating collage’ to assemble the flowers with the stems and finally collage on the support surface. We’ll be using magazine paper, which is rich in texture and colour.
No previous experience or drawing ability required.

FOREST
With the help of richly textured and colourful magazine papers, we’ll create a forest where the structure of the trees is highlighted. You’ll learn how to cut and paste simple shapes to create these complex tangles.
No previous experience or drawing ability required.
