EVELYNE BOUCHARD fell under the spell of linocut printmaking when she was looking for a creative outlet during her studies in architecture. She loves how this technique plays with strong contrasts, how the knife gives the lines a particular character, how rolling ink over a freshly-carved block and gently lowering a sheet of paper onto it remains a moment of transformation and discovery. Each step of the process leaves its mark on the final product.
This fall, Evelyne will be offering workshops in LINOCUT PRINTING.
